A Note to the Passes Community

Dear Passes community,
We wanted to take the time to address some of the noise that you may have heard surrounding Passes. This past week, there have been allegations circulating that Passes condoned or authorized posting of explicit content on our site. To be clear, these accusations are false and being wielded to undermine the success of the company we have built over the past few years.
- This lawsuit is being used by competitors as a coordinated attempt to defame Passes’ founder and status as the premier creator platform. The company believes this is ultimately part of a broader smear campaign.
- Passes and its founder are pursuing all avenues available to defend itself and protect our company, partners, and creators.
- Lucy Guo and Passes never approved or condoned the posting of underage explicit content on our platform. As part of its ongoing commitment to safety, Passes hired one of TikTok’s top safety experts to ensure that we are a secure, creator-friendly platform.
Since its founding in 2022, Passes has worked diligently to foster a safe creator-first platform. Passes forbids the uploading and distribution of explicit content and actively works to identify and remove any image or video that is in violation of our guidelines. As with other creator platforms, there may be instances where individuals circumvent those features, but once we are made aware of an issue, we take immediate action. We are committed to protecting all of our users, especially minors, and we have strict policies in place to enforce our guidelines.
Over the last year, we have strengthened our leadership team and invested in our platform in order to continue delivering a high-quality experience for all of our creators. We continue to work to improve and further enhance the features of our platform in order to achieve our goal of empowering creators and being a safe and secure creator and fan platform. We take the allegations described in the complaint extremely seriously as they are in violation of our platform guidelines. We disapprove of the actions allegedly taken by the plaintiff’s talent manager and any attempt to involve us in this matter is baseless, which we intend to prove. We have retained a law firm, and we intend on defending ourselves vigorously against these meritless claims.
We know how passionate you are about the Passes community, and we apologize if this news has been a distraction to you. Passes remains a safe platform for brand-friendly content creators, and we continue to focus on maximizing your reach and impact as a creator.
Thank you for being a part of the Passes community and trusting us with your brand.
Sincerely,
The Passes Team
