This month’s creator webinar focused on the fundamentals that drive sustainable earnings on Passes: strategic content creation and pricing. Co-hosted by Ryan Lu and Naomi Kyle, the session covered everything from content strategy to membership tier structuring, with practical demos of our messaging features.
How to Drive Earnings and Value
The foundation of any successful creator business is compelling content that fans cannot get anywhere else. We broke down the key elements of a winning content strategy that you can use in the new year:
What to Share: Focus on exclusive, authentic access through behind-the-scenes moments, tutorials and tips, long-form content, interactive posts, and seasonal or limited-time content. The key is being personal and unique to you.
Engagement Matters: Direct engagement through DMs, polls, and livestreams builds the loyalty that keeps fans subscribed month after month. The more you interact with your audience, the stronger you community becomes.
Create Urgency: Use previews and teasers to promote upcoming content. Limited-time offerings create urgency that drives new sign-ups and keeps existing fans checking back regularly.
Volume is Your Main Tool: More content means more earning opportunities. Consistency retains fans and keeps subscriptions active, so posting frequently is essential.
Use Our Features: The Vault keeps all your content organized, easily accessible, and ready to post whenever you need it. Our Scheduler helps you plan posts in advance to maintain consistency while supporting your work-life balance.
💫 Remember: more organized content and consistent posting directly lead to higher earnings and less stress.
Pricing Strategy
Start by considering your audience and demographics. At launch, lead with high-quality, exclusive content priced at a premium. As you learn more about your fans’ spending habits on the platform, you can test and adjust accordingly.
The more exclusive the content, the higher the price point should be. Custom requests should command premium pricing, and for fans you’ve built rapport with through extensive messaging, you can charge higher price points for locked DM content.
Best Practices
We recommend offering at least 3-4 membership tiers with increasing value. Structure them strategically:
- Include a low-cost entry tier to attract new subscribers
- Add a premium tier with unlimited messaging
- Bundle all lower-tier content into higher tiers
- Increase free content as tiers rise
- Including messaging at every level to drive DM upsells
During the webinar, Ryan Lu walked creators through his personal approach to pricing items in his Shop and structure his Memberships, while Naomi shared insights on pricing mass messages effectively.
